Hello and welcome to Country Cottage Cavailiers. I am Lyndy and along with my husband Don are currently producing cavaliers on a small and select scale.
We are fortunate to have been guided in our selections for our foundation lines by a national and international Judge and breeder of cavaliers. The majority of our "Ladies" and "Lords" have been imported from the United Kingdom along with other European countries. We have found these particular lines are of the best in conformation and health. Both critical issues when selecting a breeding pair. We have currently produced our own Champion dogs and continue to enjoy taking a few select puppies to the show ring. With this said, we do prefer to place our puppies in pet homes as companion animals. We feel everyone should enjoy a King Charles Spaniel.
All our breeding stock has been tested by a liscensed cardiologist from the Orthapedic Foundation Association. This is vitally important with this line of dogs. Testing for Hips, Patellars, and of course the (Cerf) testing for the eyes has also been done. All dogs are found to be clear and sound for breeding at this time. Before any puppy is released, it too has been thoroughly evaluated with the emphasis on "Healthy Heart" by our liscensed veterinarian and is stated on Certificate of Health Document.
